Conservatives have never met a false equivalency they didn’t like. First off, there’s no such thing as a “manufactured” protest. They love use words they think make them sound intelligent. Ah, so it’s a numbers game then. Here I thought it was about the suspension of habaeus corpus, randomly raiding high school graduations and arresting people even when they know they have the wrong person. I’m sure the coincidental choice of a woman who appears to be Latina was exactly that. The important thing is not identifying themselves as federal agents and refusing to provide their information. That’s how an upstanding administration goes about its business.
